Booking Policies

We have developed the policies below and hope that you find them clear and reasonable.

Deposits: A $300.00 deposit is required to book your reservation. Please mail your check to Fielder Farm, 150 Fielder Rd., Huntington, VT 05462. Reservations will be held for 14 days.

Vermont Rooms Tax: All payments for lodging are subject to the 9% Vermont Rooms and Meals Tax.

Cancellations: Any cancellation made more than 30 days before arrival will result in a forfeit of the $300.00 deposit. 100% of any subsequent payments made will be refunded.

A cancellation at 30 days or fewer before arrival will result in a forfeit of the $300.00 deposit. 50% of any subsequent payments already made will be refunded.

Check-in-time and Check-out-time: We ask that check-in-time be after 3:00 p.m. and check-out-out time be prior to 10:00 a.m. Depending on the timing of other guest, we make every attempt to be flexible with Check-in and Check-out times.

Smoking: Smoking is not permitted in any of the Farm’s buildings.

Pets: We have a strict no pets policy.

Trail Use: There are maintained trails on our 250 acre farm which guests are welcome to use for hiking, snow shoeing and skiing. The Catamount Trail is directly accessible from the lower pasture. The Catamount Trail is a 300-mile backcountry ski trail that extends from the Massachussetts border in the south to the Québec border in the north. Click here to find out more about the Catamount Trail.

Internet Service and Telephone: The Barn is equipped with wireless, high speed (DSL) internet service and telephones for your convenience and safety. We currently do not have cell phone service at the Farm.
